Folk music has influenced composers throughout time. Join Bailey Whiteman, whom you've heard sing in services, as she teams up with pianist Susan Alexander to perform a concert of songs by Brahms, Dvorak, Ravel, Chopin, Kilenyi, and others, all with folk inspiration. The concert will take place at Susan Alexander's beautiful Takoma Park home, complete with post-concert reception and socializing with other UUCSS and Washington Ethical Society members, all in the lovely and relaxed atmosphere of Susan's home, porch, and gardens. 7613 Takoma Ave, Takoma Park, MD, April 19, 2015, 4 pm. |
