Seventh Annual UUCSS Kayak Picnic

Join this year's flotilla of 8 or so kayakers at beautiful Jug Bay on the historic Patuxent River. We will provide a sumptuous lunch of vegetarian and omnivore options, as well as boats, paddles, and Personal Flotation Devices. What you can expect: plenty of herons, osprey, turtles, butterflies, American lotus, water, sun, humor, friendship, and fresh air. Swimming is possible. Participation in the ancient water sport, "Sponge Tag--Kayak Edition" is optional. Some paddling experience is helpful (check the Facebook page, UUCSS Kayak and Canoe Group, for other paddling opportunities throughout the year). |
