Description of Donation: |
The only thing "silent" about this dinner party is that you'll be using your eyes rather than your ears, your hands rather than your voice. Otherwise, there will be PLENTY of communication happening during this fun evening. Join us at Kubby Rashid's home for a "silent" dinner, sponsored by the Deaf Access Committee and Deaf members and friends. You'll be introduced to elements of Deaf culture, visual-gestural communication, and you may even learn some ASL along the way. We'll provide a delicious meal suitable for herbivores and carnivores alike, with wine and all the fixings. |
