| Description of Donation: | Journey back to those glorious days of yesteryear, when an intrepid band of actors from the Unitarian Universalist Church of Silver Spring entered the studio to record a legendary performance of The Great McGinty, by Preston Sturgess. Thought to have been lost to the ages, recent archaeological excavations have unearthed the original priceless recordings. This digitally restored masterpiece will be presented live at the UUCSS community hall on October 22, 2016, from 6:30 to 9:30 pm. Don’t miss this once in a lifetime chance to be among those who will hear this work for the very first time. The Great McGinty will be presented in three acts, with refreshments during the two intermissions. All ticket holders will receive an original audio CD to take home. NOTE: Actors from the original production attend free, as our guests of honor. |
