What is that silly-named game about? Pickleball is a sport at the intersection of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. It’s played with a modified tennis net on a badminton court, with a racket about double the size of a ping pong paddle. Now is your chance to have a Pickleball experience. Jim and Lynn will teach you the basics and then we’ll play a couple of game. Most likely we’ll play outside. But, if the outdoor courts aren’t available due to renovation, we’ll play inside. If only the indoor courts are available, we will postpone the event if Covid rates do not allow us to meet indoors per UUCSS guidelines. |
