Post-Inauguration Dinner
- Description of Donation:
- Come celebrate or commiserate, as the case may be (this is written after the VP debate and before the second presidential debate (outcome definitely uncertain). Depending on the election results, we will either be sampling dishes from Hawaii, Indonesia and Chicago and uncorking fine champagne … or we will offer a primer on Canadian cuisine, for those who may be relocating, washed down with plenty of fine or not-so-fine Scotch. Offered the weekend after the inauguration, so come extend the celebration or share your sorrow with friends.
RomCom Movie Marathon
- Description of Donation:
- What could be better on a cold winter's night than snuggling up with three classic romantic comedies? Think When Harry Met Sally, You've Got Mail, and Moonstruck -- but the final selections will be made by the participants. We'll start the evening with a hearty dinner while we settle in to watch the first movie in the lineup.

- In the cold of winter--& to celebrate Julia Child's 100th birthday--let's get together for a cozy evening of good company & conversation to enjoy a French bistro dinner of Julia's onion soup & Boeuf Bourguignon, with traditional accompaniments, French wines, & dessert crepes.
