Virginia is for Lovers' Dinner
- Description of Donation:
- Join us across the river at Hank and Rob Dahlstrom’s Virginia home for a relaxing evening of Southern hospitality. We'll feast on specialties from Virginia, including Smithfield Ham, homemade biscuits, and local wine and microbrews. This is sure to be a memorable evening for lovers of fine food and good company.
Harry Potter Movie Marathon
- Description of Donation:
- A reprise of last year's successful event for Middle School students, an all night marathon watching Harry Potter movies 1 through 6. We'll begin with a thematic British dinner, and let the movies begin! Bring your sleeping bag, pillows and blankets. Held over President's Day weekend so we all have an extra day to recover.
Valentine's Champagne Brunch for Couples
- Description of Donation:
- Bring your sweet tooth and your sweetie for a loverly Saturday brunch at our house. We'll serve romantic, gourmet sweet and savory dishes and beverages for your amorous side.
An Evening of Mulling
- Description of Donation:
- We will gather around the fire, mull cider, wine and big ideas. Please bring only a passage (poem, paragraphy, essay or excerpt) to mull over.
Kinky Boots Night
- Description of Donation:
- Enjoy this hilarious but thoughtful British cult film with a healthy dose of black and tan beer, British cheeses, Mark's Guinness cake,and whatever else the McBrides conjure up. If the film doesn't make you happy, the beer and food will!
Indulgence and Decadence
- Description of Donation:
- Our other offering was a healthy and invigorating yoga brunch. This one's for the rest of you. Come join us for a sinfully delicious French-themed dinner, featuring red meat, heavy sauces, rich desserts and fine wine. No exercise involved. You know who you are. Indulge!
