African Dinner II
- Description of Donation:
- Come spend an evening in Africa! We will dine on authentic African dishes from all over the continent, play African games, and drink wines from Africa. The menu will include foods from all parts of the continent, so come hungry!
Saturday Morning in Downtown Silver Spring
- Description of Donation:
- Come have fun in vibrant downtown Silver Spring. We'll meet at 10:30 a.m. in front of the Civic Center (good parking is across the street), tour the lively shops at the Fenton Street Market and Fresh Farm Market(bring your shopping bags) and meander down Georgia Avenue so you can check out the diverse, tasty and happening shops thriving here. We'll stop in for coffee at Kefa Cafe and return to the Civic Center to close with tea or a glass of wine at Adega. Total time about 2 hours.
"Peace, Love and Murder" Ultimate '60s Murder Mystery Party
- Description of Donation:
- Set in the 1960s, Nutmeg Vant is a legendary movie star who was shipwrecked a few years ago and stranded on a deserted tropical island with six strangers. Recently rescued, we are hosting a party to celebrate her safe return. Come be one of the guests -- perhaps even the murderer!
