Culinary Tour of Italy with Wine Tasting
- Description of Donation:
- For this dinner we will tour the food traditions of Italy. Rustic dishes from Lombardy. Wine laced onion soup from the Peidmont. From Umbria we'll have Tagliatelle with wild mushrooms. Dessert will be Strudel with apricot and ricotta from the Trentino-Alto Adige. We will not visit all 20 regions but we'll hit at least half. This dinner has many vegetarian options.
A Day at the Museum: The Hirshhorn
- Description of Donation:
- Join us for a visit to the Hirshhorn museum! All ages are welcome, this is an informal visit with no agenda, just the goal of getting you in the door of one of Washington's best museums and the only one dedicated to contemporary art. Admission to the museum is free and it is Metro accessible. We'll start at 11:00 and finish up around 3:00, so pack a lunch!
Thanksgiving in March
- Description of Donation:
- Celebrate Thanksgiving in March with all the trimmings at Linda & Emily's home. Bring your appetite! Home-cooked Thanksgiving dinner, including herb-roasted turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie. Yum! It doesn't get any better than this.
(For those with allergies...We share our home with 2 large friendly dogs, who will be celebrating with us.)
