  Half-way to Thanksgiving Celebration
Description of Donation:
Love Thanksgiving food? You do not have to wait until Thanksgiving. Enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving dinner prepared by Linda Barrett and Emily Harris, including roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, sweet potatoes, green beans, and pumpkin pie. Yum!

Homegrown Folk Music Brunch
Description of Donation:
Pot-luck brunch and sharing of music. We'll do a round robin of songs - when it's your turn, you can perform live (guitar or piano), or play a recording (CD, even audio cassette or vinyl - or on your cell phone, etc).
Time: 11 am.

Happy Hour on the Porch
Description of Donation:
A bottle of white...a bottle of red...or perhaps a beer instead...
If you've ever been to Lynn Cave's house, you know her porch is meant for entertaining. So, come round back and enjoy a beverage and snacks provided by your host. Come prepared to stay for a potluck dinner following happy hour, if you're so inclined. Teens welcome (for non-alcoholic soda).

Great Falls Geology Hike
Description of Donation:
Learn about the geology of the Great Falls area and its history as a gold mining district with geologist Mark. Starting from Great Falls Tavern at C&O Canal National Park, we will hike to the falls (and hear some ideas on how it formed), explore the canal and its geological background, and look at the complexly folded bedrock and features eroded on it when it was a river bed. We’ll find evidence of enormous past floods, and explore possible causes of the unnaturally straight Mather Gorge.

Vegetarian Indian Dinner
Description of Donation:
We welcome you to enjoy a variety of Indian vegetarian dishes which will pair with the wine and beer we select. If there is still room, diners can enjoy tea or coffee with a selection of homemade desserts. We love Indian cuisine and enjoy sharing it with friends.
