[11:00am-12:00pm] Learn to make bird feeders
- Description of Donation:
- Using recycled materials, learn how to make low-cost and fun feeders to attract birds. I will meet you at Meadowood Park (outside, socially distanced, with masks) with all necessary materials and teach you how to make two types of bird feeders. ***You will need to bring a table to work on.*** Date: Saturday, January 16, 11 am – 12 pm Meadowood Park, 12810 New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring (about a 10-minute drive from UUCSS) (If weather is bad or COVID-19 restrictions change, we will reschedule.)

[12:00pm-4:00pm] Garage Games
- Description of Donation:
- I don’t want to wait for good weather to see my friends again. Assuming the weather is at least 45 degrees, we will gather in my garage with the big door open, social distancing style, and just hang out and play some no-contact games like charades and Cards Against Humanity (cards will already be in piles so no sharing or passing cards). Bring your own hot cocoa, snacks, mask, and camp chair and dress appropriately. I will have some fans going to keep the air circulating, but at least we will be protected from the cold wind by being in the garage. This event is limited to 9 slots to maintain 6 feet distancing and mask are required.
