- Description of Donation:
- Explore the beauty of the natural world in the D.C./Metro area. We will drive to a local park/river/lake in the early afternoon to spend 2-3 hours in nature. You can choose to hike quickly, slowly, hike all of the trail or just part of it, or spend your time sitting by the water or in the woods writing, reading, sleeping, standing on your head, or staring at the trees.

[7:30pm] Zoom Play - WHAT DO WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT?
- Description of Donation:
- Join Bruce & Stephanie as we produce WHAT DO WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT?, by Richard Nelson, cast with UUCSS actors. Acclaimed as “the best example of zoom theatre I have watched,” TALK ABOUT? has also been called “the first powerful drama of the pandemic.” Nelson’s five family members (3 females, 2 males) talk with each other about their suspended lives, friends lost, and new ventures explored during the Covid shut down in this poignant drama. We are producing the hour-long play with three separate casts on 3 evenings so that 15 UUCSS members may play a role.
