Join Beverly Schnetzler and Carolyn Savadkin for an easy hike on the historic Ellicott City Trolley Trail. As an added attraction this year, Mark McBride will explain the amazing geological sights on the trail.
The historic Ellicott City/Catonsville Trolley Line #9 Trail is a 1.25-mile boardwalk and paved trail in Baltimore County, Maryland. It begins just beyond the Patapsco River’s edge. Access the trail by the staircase off parking lot A on Oella Avenue at Main Street. The trail is heavily wooded with a stream, it’s enjoyable for walking, running, and road biking and is accessible year-round.
The hike will be followed by lunch at Beverly’s lakeview townhouse in Columbia
