[1:00pm] Northwest Branch Hike and Backyard Banter
- Description of Donation:
- Explore the beauty of the natural world in the D.C./Metro area. We will drive to a local park/river/lake in the early afternoon to spend about 3 hours in nature. You can choose to hike quickly, slowly, hike all of the trail or just part of it, or spend your time sitting by the water or in the woods writing, reading, sleeping, standing on your head, or staring at the trees. Trail snacks will be provided.

[6:30pm] Play reading of "Outside Mullingar" with Dinner and Spirits
- Description of Donation:
- Join in the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day by performing in a play reading of “Outside Mullingar” by John Patrick Shanley on Saturday, March 19 at 6:30pm. The evening will culminate in a corned beef and cabbage dinner with Irish-inspired spirits. Each player will receive in the mail a copy of the play to keep. This will be an in-person event unless church Covid guidelines require us to meet virtually. Last year’s play reading took place via Zoom to great success, and eats were individually delivered.
“Outside Mullingar” is a four character play that we will be double-casting.
